Java Exception when changing Complier Settings in IDE

Description:

A Java exception occurs when attempting to change complier options.

Resolution:

1. Change to the <bbj_install>/ ide/defaultuser/system/Services directory. 

2. Delete all the com-basis-nb-bbj-settings-*.settings files. 

3. Reinstall the IDE. This will create new empty .settings files that contain no hex information.

4. Re-enter all the options information and close NetBeans so the information will be preserved in the new .settings files.
