Protocol Not Supported error message starting BLM under Novell

Description:

Error Message displays on NOVELL Server when BASIS.NLM is loaded. "Protocol not supported" 

When you load the BASIS.NLM on the Novell Server the following message is displayed: 

License Manager: socket: Protocol not supported 

Resolution:

This error message is not fatal and should be ignored provided the BASIS.NLM is loaded. Type the following at the server console prompt to confirm if the BASIS.NLM is loaded.
