Title:

FLEXlm Error -34, Clock Difference too large between Client and Server

Description:

A flexlm error -34 - Clock Difference is too large between client and server, it indicates that the time/date stamp between the workstation and the server running the BLM is > 2 hours.

The BLM will not allow licenses to be checked out when there is a large time difference.

For example,

Windows workstation is time/date stamped as
Friday, January 21, 2000 3:30 pm

UNIX box running BLM has time/date stamp of:
Friday January 21, 1994 3:30pm

and error was received. As soon as the year was changed on the UNIX box everything connected perfectly.
