Description:

Installing Vpro5 under WIndows 95, 98, and NT Operating Systems writes information previously contained in the PRO5.INI file to the Windows Registry. 

Use REGEDIT to modify these entries.

Using the Registry Editor (regedit) incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall Windows 95. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. USE Registry Editor AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!. 

NOTE: For information about how to edit the registry, view the Changing Keys And Values online Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe). Note that you should make a backup copy of the registry files (System.dat and User.dat) before you edit the registry. 


As an example, to MAP_ RGB_ COLORS=Y 

Run REGEDIT, select HKEY_CURRENT_USER, SOFTWARE, BASIS,VPRO5, PRO5. A list of terminal IDs will display: 
        default 
        T0 
        T1 

Select the one you wish to modify and click. It will list the settings for this TERMINAL ID, double click on the MAP_RGB_COLORS entry. A second window will appear with the following : 

0000 00 

If desired, change the value where: 

        00 = No 
        01= Yes 

After changing the default value for MAP_RGB_COLORS, it will be 

0000 01
