BASIS License Manager Download

Overview

This standalone version of the BLM is used with all BBj and PRO/5 products. If you have already downloaded BBj version 18.0 or higher or PRO/5 19.0 or higher, you do not need to download this version of the BLM because it is included in your product download.

BASIS products use FlexNet software licensing from Flexera Software. Refer to BASIS Licenses and the BASIS License Manager (BLM) in the online BASIS Help. For more information about FlexNet and to download a user guide from the BASIS web page, click here.

Installation

For initial BASIS Product installations using the FlexNet licensing software, contact BASIS for license authorization and/or registration. Then, install the license according to the installation instructions for your specific product as published in the BASIS online help. With the appropriate hostid information, you can install and register licenses remotely. In many cases, BASIS can also automatically register updates or upgrades after the initial registration process is complete.

Instructions

Click on the button below to be redirected to the BASIS Product Suite Download BUI application. Select the BLM entry from the Product dropdown, fill out the form’s Contact information, then click the [Download] button.

Note that the BLM 19 and 20 install requires an Oracle Java 8 or Java 11 JRE/JDK, or an OpenJDK 11 to install successfully. BLM 21 only supports Java 11. Read more.
